There is too much noise about Secularism
by Shailesh on Mar 08, 2005 10:54 AM

I want to ask what do people mean by Secularism...If u classify BJP as communal..then what would u like to call other parties..RJD, LJP, SP, ..etc. they are also formed on the basis of caste..they should also be termed as communal...because they have done more harm to the society by dividing the same on the basis of castes.

Who claims the people in Bihar voted for ..so called secular parties..they voted against RJD's misrule.

By imposing Government rule, Mr.Governer has started a new phenomenon, Kudos to him!

For democratic Indian, There is a light at the end of tunnel.... But I think this light is of speeding train, which is going to run over Bihari's.

I strongly oppose president rule in Bihar.
The people of Bihar has voted for Demoratic
Government.
Mr Paswan must understand the situation, otherwise
in next election secular voters will kick out Paswan
from Indian Political map, if he form the Gornment with the support of communial forces/BJP

you really seem to have become so obsessed with the term Secular that u have forgotten everything else. Do u think that the people who voted for LJP wanted Lalu to form the Govt. HAd they wished for that they would have voted for RJD instead. People wanted Lalu-Rabri out of Power. So, the mandate is for Non-RJD Govt.. Now, stop this Psedo -secularism rhetoric.. The RJD has done more harm to Bihar..it has corrupted whole of the state. The roads of Bihar were Better 15 years ago than what they are today.

So, why are you favouring a party whose rule has ruined Bihar.

Finally Rabri govt headed by Mr. Lalu Prasad yadav has gone. Lalu a brillinat politician but a worst nightmare for Bihar has given enough bad name to greate Bihar. I hope who ever will suceed him would do some thing better for Bihar and bihari people. New govt(president rule) should focus on elemination of Castism, crimnalisation and corruption.

Apart from Mr. Paswan, I think you r not well too. I don't know how u claim that Laloo is pro-poor. What good has he done to the poor people. Infact the no. of poor families in Bihar has increase during the last 15 years. The Roads have been in doldrums..which are used by poor people. Because of Bad roads..teh patiesnt's are not able to rach the hospitals in time..and hence lose thier lives.

Are these the reasons..which make Laoo pro-poor and a great man..I disagree.

U better update urself about the qualties which make a man great!!!

There are some people who would never change...they would continue to support Lalu..and turn their eyes away from what he has done to the State which has gone back about 50 years during the last 15 years of Lalu-Rabri's misrule.
It's better for Bihar that Lalu-Rabri Raj is now over..and I hope that now Bihar can move on the path of Development..and in next 10-20 years, it would be able to achieve great strides in terms of infrastrutural development. Hope that the tarnished image of the state would be revamped now...May Lalu/Rabri (or his kins) never become CM in future.

I also pray that the blind people of the state open their eyes..and vote for leaders/party that can bring law & order and prosperity to the state..rather than keeping their eyes shut & vote for someone as inefficient as Lalu.

Dr D N Pandey
Bihar government formation
by Dr D N Pandey on Mar 06, 2005 03:11 PM

Mr Ramvilas Paswan must stop the drama and should form the govt with the help of NDA.There is complete nonsense to create chaos in the name of secularism. A party which gets more than 90 seats canot be simply described communal. It is also unconstitutional and illegal to brand NDA as communal party.Looking at the history and definition of communalism, the most communal party is none other than congress. People immediately want doing away with the present Laloo govt which is extremelly anarchaic, corrupt and a spot on indian democracy.

My Feelings for Bihar
by venkat on Mar 06, 2005 03:02 PM

It is horrible to see the state of affairs in Bihar for when our corporates are talking about the outsouring, growth rate , economic development but it is unfortunate to see that BIHAR REMAINS THE SAME - with respect to the attitude and it is only justfied that the People will have the lesser of the EVIL governance still !! I would support Mr Paswan - that the SAFAI is required and hence the fractured verdict is that it must be the president rule in Bihar and I have immense appreciation for Mr Kalam - in discharging this in an excellant manner !!

by Nitinkumar on Mar 06, 2005 05:03 AM

IF LJP and JD(U) will come together and BJP will give a support from outside, then that will be good idea to form the stable government in Bihar.
After forming the govt, they should keep doing good work and they should try to improve the situation in Bihar.
