Its funny that no one talks about what is best for the development of Bihar. Its basically a game to get even with the other.

NO PRESIDENT's RULE PLEASE ''Give Bihar a chance''
by Manoj on Feb 28, 2005 03:52 AM

Are these guys mad. I dont understand why the heck do they need to impose President's rule. If they say that its good for Bihar to be under President's rule to bring law and order under control, then they should have done it before the elections. Now as the results are out, and no one has a majority, I feel that the Governor must allow a minority government to run like PV Narasimha Rao government. Instead imposing President's rule now and conducting elections after 6 months is like eating into public money and also sounds similar to what happened in Nepal. I request all the official out there, "Please do not waste the hard earned money of common man". If you want Bihar to be developed there are indeed lots of ways. I feel already Bihar has started to develop by opting out Laloo. "Give Bihar a chance".

E.R. NARAYANAN
comment on Bihar Analysis
by E.R. NARAYANAN on Feb 27, 2005 10:48 PM

The analysis of what could happen in Bihar is the exact state of affairs and fairly assessed. One point is that Mr.Lalu will never allow the BJP to come to power or with its support any of its allies. Since Bhaswan has allied with congress, we hope that Mr.Paswan will not ditch congress and UPA in the centre but there is an element of possibility is there. I think there will be some comprise will be made between UPA Partners and will try grab the powere and run the government. It is only Mr.Lalu has to make some sacrifice by accommodating paswan and others. If he revolts the UPA at the centre will not be there, utimately he will not be there as a Railway minister, consequently Mr.Paswan also will lose his ministry. The managers in the centre will some how pacify the alliance partners and try to run the coalition government there with Mrs.Rabridevi as CM-NARAYAN

Bihar Polls Results
by Mangesh Chitnis on Feb 27, 2005 10:01 PM

I sincerly feel that since the mandate is very clear
the people of Bihar are too tired of Lalu,Rabri and
their team.So the single largest party/alliance being
the NDA should think of forming a government with the
help of Mr.Paswan.Mr.Paswan was once a member of the
NDA and hence should think on the same lines if at all
he wants to honour the mandate

Mrs.Bhaswati Sarkar
What could happen to Bihar
by Mrs.Bhaswati Sarkar on Feb 27, 2005 06:29 PM

Since BJP is the single largest party winning seats
NDA should be allowed to be the CM. Sonia Gandhi
should rise above her hunger for power and give
NDA a chance. As CM, no other candidate appears to
be worthy enough. President's Rule is fine, then
soon there has to be elections again, which means
more expenditure. To avoid harm to the nation, Sonia
Gandhi, if she is really patriotic, should allow
NDA to form the Govt.
Bhaswati Sarkar. [Patna]

by kumar on Feb 27, 2005 05:24 PM

However expensive it may turn out to be, it is a godsend oppurtunity for proper governance in the form of President's rule in Bihar.

Who says there is no GOD. He IS and He votes ..perhaps doesnt!!!!!!
