Interview of Ram Vilas Paswan
by Anantha Kumar on Feb 03, 2005 11:27 AM

Ram Vilas is the human form of a chameleon. Changing parties (like colors) is his prime forte. He is a good case for a Hollywood star. Get married to one party for a few years, then get divorced. Then go to another party for another years, then get divorced. Perhaps, he is the only Indian politician to have been in many many parties. What is his contribution to the NATION? No prizes for telling the correct answer

RE:shame on bihar

ur reader has written tht its a shame tht BIHAR is an state of union of india . as a born bihari i'm deeply hurt by his blant ovservation.
I thnk he does not knows fully about the potential and calibre of people of BIHAR . its bcoz of negligence by successive governments of this state tht the BIHAR is in a situation we found it today.
nevertheless the hardworking n brilliant people of BIHAR r not going to take this lying down.
I would like to refer one article in THE TIMES OF INDIA dated 5th october 2004 which refers tht till 2010 every district of our great motherland will b governed by a BIHARI either as its D.M.,S.P.
or its Collector.
So its not fair on his part to say tht the state of BIHAR is to b ashamed off. A few persons from tht very land of which u r ashamed of will b governing u in the years to come n tht will really b a proud day for the state of BIHAR.
Ur article has really hurt the sentiments of people of BIHAR

Comment of Bihar Govt
by Sujatha on Feb 01, 2005 12:28 PM

What is their to comment, people laugh at our politicians. Every politican is corrupt, no justice. Only money and corruption talks. I basically common man is fed up or I can say frustrated at the way the things are going in India. The judges who should give justice are under the leaders, they dance on the fingures of leaders. Day light every thing is done, no one is their to ask.

Don't you leaders just see what are you people doing. If other country people see our country, they will laugh at you. Our leaders support the preist who is involved in cold blooded murder and still BJP government supports why? Why should they interfer with the law. Let law do its own course.
In Bihar what is their. Is the CM fit for her post, the way she answers media's query. She is just a pupet of Laloo. What is the central government doing. It just wants to be in power at central let what ever happen in the state. Actually their should not be democracy in India. We too should have Miliatary rule.

What an assessment...
by pathur s. swaminathan on Feb 01, 2005 11:06 AM

Look, the kettle is calling the pot black!

A cursory look at the interview shows the inconsistencies in Mr. Paswan's statements, like "corruption is not an issue" and immediately thereafter talking about corruption!

People have to think not only about themselves, they have to think about thier children and their grandchildren. Our founding fathers sacrificed much to give us what we have today, which we so profusely abuse. The need of the hour is for us to sacrifice our immediate desires and elect people of education, of experience, of honesty, of dedication, of values, so that our children and thiers will live happily -- no more clowns and charlatans, please!
