NCP has very rightly claimed for CM's post.
by rakesh kumar on Oct 25, 2004 12:03 PM

The elections this time in Maharashtra has shown that NCP-Congress coalition is more popular in Maharashtra than BJP-SS coalition. But within the NCP-Congress coalition , it is also abundantly clear from the results that the NCP is the favourite.while contesting on lesser seats ,NCP has won more seats than the Congress. Now, if Congress doesn't accept a C.M. from NCP ,it'll be ,in a way, defying the people's mandate. On the other hand,it 'll also do no good to the marale of the rank and file of the NCP,which will be detrimental to the whole coalition.

Ncp should be given cm post

In the bigger interest, Congress should give the charge of CM to NCP and then ask for results in key development areas instead of fighting for the CM post and then delivering nothing to the people of Maharasthra

Our country and citizens are victims of many political chameleons. Their prosperity and security is more important to them than the country and its citizens. One such politician who has shown himself to be a chameleon is Sharad pawar. He quit congress throwing venom at sonias foreign origin and then could not team up with BJP. So he aligned with Congress, wanted to mint more money so he tried BCCI post and got defeated. Now he does not want to sacrifice the cream. Such politicians are proving to be a liability for the country and people should realize and teach him a lesson.

Democracy my foot....................
by ashok chavda on Oct 24, 2004 07:02 AM

What kind of democracy is this? A state of more then 600 million people does not get proper governanace even after electing them properly, as per the system, on the basis of their pre-election alliance and promices. This is just a trailer, tomorrow this cancer from Maharashtra will spread across the country, in every state and even in the center. Do we deserve costly democracy, or should we start thinking of some other system by which the country can be governed like a profit making blue chip company?
