If the Congress continues its hypocritic double standards in all political matters, Pawar should consider telling Congress that NCP may seek BJP-Sena support to form its own government. BJP-Sena might oblige. If so, Sonia will double up, stop playing her double game and will allow NCP to name the Chief minister based on the 1999 principle between the two parties.
Mr Sharad Pawar is ethically, technically and politically right in claiming CM-ship for his party. It is a good tactic to 'state' outside support to INC but should accept the Chief Minister ship for the party if INC walks the talk as demonstrated by Mrs Sonia Gandhi in denying the Prime Minister's post not long ago. INC is clearly seen as selfish specially since Mr Pawar had gracefully accepted Ministry of Agriculture.
Undoubtedly there is a clear picture for the NCP to claim CM post. Not only CM post but they must have Ministries like Home, Revenue,Finance and Agriculture.
Mr Sharad Pawar and his party men should not leave this demand at ANY COST.
As such congress has lost as compared to NCP. There is no LEADER of congress. All are Hiders behind the paloo of Italian Sonias saree. No one can bring up our state like Mr Sharad Pawar.
If this time Mr Sharad pawar makes mistake then the people of our state will not spare his party any more.
For persons like me NCP must be an integral part of the Govt in Maharastra.That is what the masses want.So Sharadji please be there.Congress party doesnot have persons who can take the burden of Governance fully.
i would like to see Shiv sena and BJP supporting NCP and NCP' having a chief minister- may be Sharad Pawar, and BJP and Shivsena Sharing the deputy chief mister's seat either for six months each like BJP did with BSP or they should creat an additional seat of joint deputy chief mister. every thing can happen in India (Maharashtra) how about a food for thought.
