I honestly feel Salil's Maharashtra Election coverage has been pathetic! Through the diary, I expected to read about campaign tricks, candidates' take at the issues, activists' opinions etc. For that matter, what has Pune police (or population control) to do with an election coverage?? Gopal Godse's interview was in a bad taste too (it looked like the reporter intended to make fun of the old man, whatever his history may be).
I assume whoever in Rediff reads my comments, will do something to make sure this bloke writes what he is supposed to write and not spit out all sorts of garbage in the name of election coverage. 'Anything' will not be tolerated and I will not read 'Anything' on Rediff. Looking forward to interesting stuff from Salil. All the best.
