IN Western Maharashtra he was king of Sugar Loby & Banking Sector. he having no any challenge in Westerns Maharashtra.
A lot has been discussed about Pawar power, the good and the bad.But my experience with this leader says that he is the only politician in Maharashtra we have who cares,who understands, who guides, who implements and has developmental heart.He always moves ahead despite this kind of selfish opposition because he actually delivers while his opponents are still thinking about it.

Just to remind u,he's the youngest Chief Minister that maharashtra has had,at the age of 37 he ripped apart the congress to grace CMship. He came pretty close to PMShip in 91,but a certain PVN Rao did him in! Nevertheless,if at all he survives his jaw cancer,one day ....take it from me buddy...history shall remember him as the first Maratha PM of India.

Pawar may become a CM again but I dont see, to see a situation to be plain, pawar emerging as a PM. NCPs popularity is in decline. And if you are hoping pawar as a last option by a 3rd front or even BJP to kep congress out of power in next or after elections that too little chance. Since there are many lalus, jayalalithas, and many others who hope for such a scenario.
His greatest chance was in this election. If BJP could get some more seats around 220-230 and if pawar too could get 10-20 more he had a chance to get a last minute BJP support as a short solution for a few months or a year.
