How you will shine Bandra & BJP
by Farhaan Ahmed on Oct 07, 2004 07:09 PM  | Hide replies

Dear Mrs. Shaina,

Its good to hear from you that you are intrested in Politics, but in your 13years major age you never joined any political party, just before one week of elections joined and want to elect as MLA, You never been with poor or middle class people, even you are not resident of Bandra how you thinking that you will win and you will take care of Bandra? You know your main Opponent is in politics from 28years, You are not feeling that he is very mature in public problems? I dont know how people dream to became MLA or MP in one overnight? You struggled and working in Fashion field from 13 years, still i think you are not in top rank in your own field, then how you will become in politics with seven days experience before elections? You dint feel that Mr. Ashish Shelar is better candidate than you as he is in canstency people from long back? if you really want to work for party then you should work for Mr. Shelar election ticket and for win and for party. Once party came in power you will get roots to do public service, then you will be called honest and sincere for public and party.

Right now you cant shine Bandra or BJP may be you can Fashion.

I dont understand why political parties are behind actors and models. They will be good in their own fields but is big zero in politics. Thats history. Even Amitabh was proved a zero in politics.

Politics is much different from comsmetic beauty and entertainment shows. The thing is most of these new entrants are not ideologically attached. Some take it as an oppurtunity to earn some more money during elections, some are in search of more popularity and so. Only very few are committed: Satruknan Sinha, Sunil Dutt, Govinda and a few. Others are "ayaram gayaram". The last election proved people dont even give facevalue to such people.

We need good administartors, planners and good professionals. Everybody cannot do anything. There will be few exceptions.

''So what if you are a young woman and honest!''
by Miss Aruna Gohil on Oct 05, 2004 09:48 AM

Well! many affluent,glamorous,honest(so called)
young people have joined political parties in the past and present, but, the question is will they be allowed to stay active viz. the hooligans around them
do they need such high profile candidates ? It is one thing to give an impressive interview but to sustain in the party is another story. Where is Shabana Azmi, where is Mr. Mallaya, where is Ms. Prada, where is Ms. Vijayantimala,Where is Ms. Hemamalini etc. etc.? They are nothing but puppets in silence in the party. The co-party workers donot like competition with the affluent and polished they are a threat to their own security. Time will say whether Ms. Shaina NC will be successful or not. If she is so confident then she should fight this coalition and "khichdi" government. Khichdi is only a good meal for sick, not a healthy meal for a normal human Ms. Shaina!
