Can anybody tell me one single country in this whole world where the leader of the govt is a foreighner? I read an article in a major English daily on 14th May which says that the Italians are surprised and happy that Mrs Sonia Gandhi has a chance to become the PM of India. Then there was a comment in quotes from an Italian, which goes something like : can anyone in Italy imagine a foreighner becoming their PM? I have lot of respect for the Congress president, and I am sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings. However, I would like to have comments from fellow readers on their thinking on abv points. What do they think about Congress going back to dynestic politics, with their whole existance in politics depending on Gandhi family? What do they think of foreighner leading a traditional yet future superpower country like us?
If Pawar does not like to be PM,he should quit the alliance.Sonia Gandhi should stitch out a Govt. only out of those who are willing to accept her as PM,otherwise she should not take a risk of forming the Govt which may be toppled by the regional satraps.Let the country go for another election which will surely give her a full mandate.
