The lost in Bengal is due to false Secularism propaganda by the left parties. as far as we know mamta and her party is quite away from this nonsense. i am very very sorry to say that the people of Bengal are not too mature to understands who will give them their dream bengal. any how i can only hope for the sonar bangla but every bengali knows this left party cant. I am surprised we(so called intelligent bengali) cant even chose our leader.
Yup Mr. Prakash everybody is Happy. In a dead city, unfazed by the technical developments throughout the world everybody should be happy. Kven today Kolkata looks like the dilapidated remains from the British age with no development at all. In a state where text books scream that minorities developed India and Muslim rulers saved Hinduism, the minorities must be happy. dont they ??

Hey..why dont u look into the comparative study of Kolkata with other big cities in India in May edition of Business World..U will see where Kolkata is better and where it is worse..By the way..dont tell me BusinessWorld publishes from Calcutta..hence the biased report..No body supports that Muslim kings save Hinduism..but if u see the voting patterns in West Bengal..most of the Muslims vote for Congress and not lefts..hey..again u have started the left bashing..right!!!

People of Bengal have been famous for their legendary intelligence, as well as lack of vision, and lack of long term goals. They day dream till such time that reality gives them a jolt-then they start looking for quick-even violent- solutions to their problems. Not that they get it.all history of both Bengals is a testimony to that.

hey..do u know what u r saying..have u ever read the cultural and political history of India..Why most of the nobels and also oscars came to west bengal..we may not have build too many fly overs but still Calcutta is the only city with completed metro rail..Only because west bengal is against rampant economic reforms, they dont have any foresight!!!!
The farmers in the W Bengal are extremely happy. They live a very happy life. The downtrodden are happy, the minorities are happy, the gods are happy, and everyone else is happy. No wonder they voted for their government.
