Congress on winning elections
by Nakhat Ara Naqvi on May 13, 2004 03:55 PM

Now that the Congress Party is heading to stake claim to form the new government I sincerely request all its leaders and would be ministers to strictly look into the problems of the common man. The poor man who has no say in anything except the vote that he casts on a five year basis. The plight of the farming community is a grave concern besides the unemployment of the educated youth. The corruption/bribe that have built strong inroad into the system of selection should be seriously worked out. How can a middle class person be exected to pay Rs 5 lakh for his appointment, it is disgusting to see that a non deserving person is working. Once the minister takes charge he forget his duty. I just hope that this governemt would sincerely work for the well being of the common man. Otherwise this government will be thrown out in the next elections the way that the BJP has been. Please do something for us, by us I mean the common man.

About Elections
by Benoy George on May 13, 2004 03:11 PM

Hi everybody,

This is good that in elections the people are deciding the ruling party. But the Ruled Party is not taken not taken lesson from their Mistakes. So, in this happy occasion I only like to tell that when you will become the Ruler not forget that days when you are in oppositions and the Promises you made at that time. A change is necessary in the life, when and why it only get from the Situations.

I wish you the coming ruling party and hope that they should learn some lesson from their old ruled mistakes and love to do some work which is necessary for our country and it will make our country higher and higher.

Have you a very best of luck and hope that you will change the promises to reality.

Congratulations to Sonia Gandhi for her commendable performance. The people of Gujerat should be patted on their back for rejecting the communal forces.

They were crying foul over Sonia's foregin origin, specially Modi & Katiyar. I hope they put their foot into eachother's mouth & stay quiet. They are an insult to secularism in India & do not know how to respect a "Bahu".

Raj Khalid
Sonai as PM
by Raj Khalid on May 13, 2004 01:45 PM

Sonia Gandhi should now be made PM as soon as a COngress led Government assumes power. Whatever people say about her lack of experience in politics or language skills she has one and only one role to play. As John Ackers of IBM said, A CEO sets the moral and ethical parameters within which the organisation will function. Sonia can and will establish the moral parameters within which the Congress party can take India on the path to greater progress, security and prosperity.
