The Congress victorry is not surprise, Attemtong of removing it from Indian Politics is dream of foolish politicians
by Ichanahalli Chaluvaaraju on Jun 11, 2004 04:50 PM

If anybody looks into the organizational, behavioural and idiological background of Indian political parties. The Congress stands first though there were some shortcomings. They were out of power or will be out of power whenever mob/phobia helps the party like BJP. I dont think any such type of phobias will happen in future in India. Ram temple, vajpayee phobia were over. People also have experienced most adament style of BJP governanace. The only hope for BJP to sustain is to go for organizational reform. The congress without any leader can survive in this country for another 100 years since it is having its roots in each and every nook and corner of the country. But BJP there is a long journey to go, otherwise they need to depend on unreliable and most worst politician like Jayalalitha. Instead of talking nonsence, some BJP leaders should develop most degnified style of leadership to tackle the congress. The one more shoking thing for BJP is, if congress get into UP again and manage to win atleast 50% of seats, no body can prevent it to become single largest party in the parliment. That is what Rahul may be trying. All the best in his efforts.

Mr Vajpaye's bad days/nothing to do with rahul Gandhi's victory
by v ramnath on May 13, 2004 11:09 PM

Ever since Mr Vajpayee decided to have an alliance with AIADMK, his problems started. His first stint as PM lasted 13 days. Then, with AIADMK, his term at the office lasted 13 months. Then he was overthrown. Now he once again allied with AIADMK; he lost whatever he gained in the last five years. Today is 13th May, and with AIADMK, the 13th has done him in.
And he had to resign. Fate had its last laugh.

Rahul on Mothers Victory
by Saravana Kumar on May 13, 2004 08:38 PM

Rahuls recent interviews to the media on his mother's victory is very impressive. He respects opposition party leaders despite of their negative statements against his mother's origin. He respects senior party men. Above all, he knows his stand on what he is today and what he has to do going forward.

Down the line, I am sure, he will be one of the Best Prime Ministers of India.

Almighty and Compassionate God has reached out His Hand once again
by vekukho soho on May 13, 2004 07:44 PM

It is just great to witness that after all those untolerable activities, both verbal and nonverbal, of the BJP led govt. God has stepped in to save the needy people by lifting the CONGRESS PARTY to power once more. The incredible result which favours the Congress party-- a purely secular and transparent party-- clearly shows that the INDIAN citizens are not sleeping or blind. The reversal victory of the election would certainly teach those who works for personal benefits. I pray that the secular govt. ( a govt. obviously going to rule led by the congress party) would remain incharge of the Nation infinitely henchforth. Long live... SONIA GANDHI.

My Views

Dear Mr. Gandhi,

Congratulations for being elected from the Amethi for the Parliament. Though I don't want to spoil your win over other candidates, but definitely the people of amethi casted their votes keeping in mind that you are from the Gandhi family who has dominated this country for more than 4 decades. The overall win of Congress throughout the country will not ensure that Congress forms the government in the centre. By and large, Indian people are not ready to accept a foreigner to sworn-in as their Prime Minister. Here the downfall of Congress shall began. Even Indian common man can not accept you as a PM. However, you are not eligible as of today to be a PM due to age constraint.

Mrs. Sonia Gandhi may not digest that some one else cherishes the fruit of the success and becomes the PM. Besides that, Congress has not got a clear majority and is not capable to run the government in centre with the help of the allies.

However, I wish Congress party for the success they have got and hope that Congress party shall work for the betterment of our nation and the growth of a comman man.

Prakash Sharma
