Ill fate of India..
by mohit on May 14, 2004 09:48 AM

I dont know who voted for congress.
As far as i think Vajpai has been one of the best PMs that india had. Its ill fate of India that Sonia will be the Prime Minister of India. Who voted to make her PM? Why people went against BJP? Is it that they did not go for the populist agendas like all others... giving free electricity to farmers.. who will pay for all these.. Only other consumers.. who else.. and only GOD knows what will happen to the economic reforms.. Its just the ill fate that voters are not educated enough.. they may have got school education but still i dont know whats there..

Stars haven't favoured Vajpayee
by Madhu on May 14, 2004 03:31 AM

For many people like me, election results didn't bring much personal monetary favors but enlightened rather exposed some of the misleading Indian legends. Firstly, in A.P elections former minister Mohan Reddy. By his astrological knowledge TDP suppose to get 158 seats. In fact, he claimed (as appeared in Eenadu news paper) this new figure is from him latest and updated planetary position. Everyone knows the A.P outcome. No where near Reddy's astro. knowledge. So first question is: Who is wrong Reddy or Astrology? Second prediction is by Kriti Raj (He supposed to have a Ph.D in astrology). So, second question: again Ph.D astrologer is wrong? or astrology itself is wrong? It can be endless but for now finally: God man Puttaparthi Sai Baba's advice to Vajpayee about coming back to power if elections would hold before May. How April elction results can't obey God man's order. So final question: God man can be wrong or God himself is wrong to have such God men? So Indians, please think "India is not Shining" but "India is Stinking". One toilet for 10000 people :-).

Mockery of Democracy
by chandra shekar on May 14, 2004 02:56 AM

First i would like to congrulate the largest winning party,Secondly i respect the mandate of the people.

Inspite of having democracy from the past 50 Plus years, Indians never ever tried to get out of the DYNASTY RULE. We will be like Russia down the road, ruled by bunch of Tycoons.

My Predictions
1. If congress gets to rule for another 5 yrs, our next P.M. ( I am talking about the next election) will be RAHUL GANDHI and the saga of dynasty will continue.

2. If People really want to have DEMOCRACY, we can end this Dynasty rule, by just doing
"NO PERSON CAN CONTEST FOR PRIME MINSTERSHIP FOR MORE THAN TWO TERMS"....just giving an example of other DEVLOPED DEMOCRATIC NATION.

3. DYNASTY RULE...not good for the nation.(ex. Russia).

3. HAT'S OF TO CONGRESS...and its members, let see what else they provide free to the poor people.

An Indian whose future looks dim

NDA Voted out of power
by Farhad on May 13, 2004 06:43 PM

As a foreigner who has completed his education only one year back from India, I am very happy that darkages that push India back and ruinned the India's image between civilized country are finished after almost 7 shameful years. These people came to the power with the help of blood that India's brave army gifted to his nation at kargil and at return they gave India Gujarat massacre. I am happy they are gone at last and I hope that new Government under the leadership of Mrs Ghandi can build a country without any place for communal forces.

Time for the masses to speak their verdict
by priya on May 13, 2004 03:48 PM

In view of the blunders created by the NDA government the citizens of India have rightly given back.
Even in a state like Gujurat, Cong has won 14 seats this goes to say that the people of India are now awake and they have given tit for tat.
