I feel BJP was defeated for the following reasons:
1. Feeling in the mind of people that it is a rich mans party 2. Globalisation, capitalism kind of impression of the party. 3. Tahelka.com showing the minister tking the bribe and the same fellow is again re-inducted in the cabinet 4. Wrng timing of election: had been election in November after or during the diwali people may be more comfortable in cold season, presently the extreame heat is blamed on the ruling party! nitin
Would there be a possibilty that the colonial rule will come back .. and we now become the colony of Italy ... I am very scared .. can some one please clarify
Most respected Atal Ji, I was worried too much about the failure this time. But you will lead the party again towards the next election when a clearer mandate will be achieved and all the programmes could easily be implemented for a prosperous India. The Congress and other parties are going to start their real fight shortly and a by-election in two years is inavitable. People are behind you. India needs your leadership to move any further. Wish you all the best. Jai Ram !!! RAMDAS
This is really unfortunate that Vajpayee govt lost elections despite of all the good work done by it. We can again look forward for an era of scams and scandals with the comeback of congress led govt that reminds me of Narsimha rao govt where more than 20 ministers were changed of corruption in various scams. The only interpretation of the result could be that the people of this counry have still not risen from the phyche of selecting dynasty rather than reformists.
I sincerely feel that we lost our the most sincere prime minister of Inida. I don't think he will ever be able to rule India again in his life. I convey my heart full of regards and respect. Let us all hope congress proves their point. They prove to this whole world that we are the leaders. They prove that they can do better than BJP. That is the challenge they take with them forward to prove themselves. Lets us hope they don't downmgrade our hopes and live upto people expectations. We need progress we need growth and we need outcome and not them timely promises made during elections and forget after that. The questions always stand will they? Let us see.
It is unfortunate that your party has lost the Election 2004.It has once again proved that unless everybody works sincerely, no party can survive. The outbursts of Mr Modi was one of the reasons. Instead of pointing out mistakes of others, the leaders should have concentrated and apprised the public about their achievements and apologised for the lapses during their rule which would have definitely gone a long way giving confidfence to the voters. Perhaps, the voters would have given another chance. Anyway,do not lose heart.Congress party and the leaders are no better. There are Brutuses in every party. You might get as well ready for a reelection in end 2006. At least by then, try to give constructive suggestions as opposition instead of harping upon the lapses of the ruling party. Your efforts should build up on: 1 To correct your lapses. 2 To give more opportunity to youngsters 3 To build up a good image during the Congress rule 4 To boldly face any possible vindictiveness by the Congress. If BJP is forming the Government in Karnataka, it is the right opportunity to prove your sincerity of purpose. I wish all the best. B C SESHADRI 68 yrs
