Polls and the Pundits are gone; the people have spoken. It is astonishing to see such a highly calculative politician could not read between the lines. The poll verdict is a simple combination of several frustrations felt by all sections of the society. Of them, Agriculture was the most affected and Mr. Naidu did not care for the bricks and mortar that built the structure. He was focused on the exterior finish that could not withstand the collapse of the interior. Gates may come and go, Clinton can shower praises for what it is worth, but the ultimate worth comes from the populace. That ironically backfired even in the bastion of TDP. All is not over for Naidu. He can still prove to the people that he can be gentlemanly opposition leader too.
