Thanks to the great leaders..
by Debdatta on May 14, 2004 08:51 AM

Well I feel that the CPI(M) chief forgets the very basic fact that he and his party have ruined the ecomony of both Kerala and Bengal. Thanks to a person like Mr. Buddhadev who is trying to bring back a sleeping and dead bengal. The Most surprising part of his interview is that he has the greatest of leaders as his alliance friends like Laloo, Mulayam and others, who cannot think anything other their own interest. Can never grow up and will never let this country and its economy grow. They knowledge and thinking process is very limited. They are now outdated like the 486 machines, which cannot process too many things. I feel the development that was being started by NDA will be somehow be effected

Next PM must be Sonia Gandhi
by Irshad Ahmad Khan on May 13, 2004 09:51 PM

Hi !

I strongly urge that Sonia Ganghi must be next PM,all Left parties SP,BSP and many more to support for the formation of new govt.

We have seen that BJP only talking about feel good India on paper and whatever talking the industial growth of 6.9% in '03-04,that all foundations were made by Congress govt.,when Manmohan Singh was Finance Manister.
As per loksabha result 2004,itself proving that public wants change because NDA could not score as 250 seats.
Thanks
I.A.Khan

New Observations
by M K Jagga on May 12, 2004 03:27 PM

I was going thru reader's comments and a few things struck me.

a) Going by the responses of readers, NDA should have won four fifth of seats. It seems that the educated masses know whom to vote for. Or may be India Shining is only for them.

b) We need to push our representatives for a legislation for retiring of our leaders. Once a leader has reached pinnacle of position in party (say President or General Secretary) or Government say Prime Minister AND is over 65 should retire.

Imagine, VP, Chandrashekhar, IK Gujral, Devegowda, H K S Surjit, Jyoti Basu etc are out. Vajpayee will be affected only when he relinquishes the PM position.

If wishes were horses.

Rahul Malviya
Allow the 'secular' alliance
by Rahul Malviya on May 10, 2004 11:42 AM

I strongly urge the BJP and allies to not bid for government formation should they fail to muster 260+ in the elections. This would clearly mean that the 'secular' aliance has been given the mandate to rule the country and who are BJP and allies to go against people's verdict.

This 'secular' government may appear unstable, may also come apart in less than two years promising another round of elections, but this is a chance worth taking. Moreover, there will be free entertainment for all, what with dozens of contenders for PM's post playing musical chair to decide who'll be the PM (Sonia,Surjeet,Mulayam,Mayawati,Pawar,Basu,Gowda,Gujral et all) and for how long (let's not forget Congress's genius formulation of rotating chair in J & K, someone please pinch me when Mufti hands over the reins to Azad) ?

My support is for the 'secular' alliance - let us settle this 'secular' issue once and for all.

Day Dreaming

Left front will never be able to do anything good for the country. I dont understand why they do not want BJP Led NDA. NDA has provided good alternative to Congress and has really done good work which can be seen by one and all.

People should see for them self that in the Congress Rule for the past 50 Years the development done was very minimal.

Now BJP and their allies are trying to do some thing good for the country these people cannot digest, they had supported the candidate like Deve Gowda, I have always see him sleeping in all the crucial meetings.

This is how left front wants to take the country forward "In Dreams".

All the exit polls and opinion polls show that NDA will form the govt. still these people cannot accept. I am sure NDA will get 300+ seats in this elections.

Mr. Naidu will make the govt. in AP and Mr. bajpai will make the govt. in the center.

As usual congress and their said allies will be in the opposition.

In AP if congress has promised free power (electricity) to all, they want people not to pay their electricity bills, once they come to power they will wave ir off. I dont understand how they can make this kind of promises.
