Rediff is doing a very commendable job of covering the national elections. Your recent columns have highlighted many politicians which are very comitted and hardworking yet have not got any recognition at the national level. Rediff is doing very well in increasing the awareness level of people who have little knowledge of the political situations and regional issues beyond their own region. Your articles are thoughtful and full of insight unlike some of the other so called national newspapers whose article are more like a cricket diary, sex diary or a bollywood diary. I hope sites like your prosper to counterbalance the negative impact of such "esteemed publications" who bring a bad name to journalism.
No right to talk about DMK withdraw from NDA govern Prime minister don't forget about"1999 incident" Compare to this incidents (DMK withdrawn), 1999 issue is very bad.PM is also told about the incidents is tolally mental torcher alliance but to day ........................ Shri. Atal Vajpayee is not a great leader, as he pretends to be. Its only a mirage. If he is really a great man, he could have never accepted to spend several hundred crores for "India Shining". (In fact, I stopped supporting BJP immediately after watching this ad.)
BJP is surviving mainly by manipulating the media in its favour.
You are trying to fool yourself by comparing the walk out of ADMK and walk out of DMK, MDMK & PMK. In fact, the later parties showed a lot of tolerance to remain in NDA.
You have accepted that BJP is a junior party in TN. But, you must be courageous to accept that BJP candidates will lose their deposit, if they contest alone.
DO YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO GO ALONE!
DMK has walked out of NDA, only because of the consistent non-sense comments from TN BJP.
Anyway, by aligning with ADMK, BJP is bound to learn yet another bitter lesson from Miss Jaya.
PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THAT SITUATION. YOU MAY HAVE TO COMMENT AGAINST HER.
Sukumaran must make the correct assessment of the prowesses of this lively lady who is capable of defeating a dozen black belts with the wink of her eyes.
