No one can debate on the issue of who is the right candidate if congress comes to power in this election. It Should be and undoubtedly Sri.Y.S.Rajasekar Reddy. During the last few years he has definetely put a lot of efforts to bring unity among the leaders and the cadre of the party and he has done a thorough training to the leaders as how to handle the elections. As always disciplne in the party comes first and YSR is a very disciplined leader on whom both the party and the people can put their faith. He has raised his voice above others in the assembly pertaining to the failures of the TDP government in providing support to the farming community. He travelled extensively through out AP in the padayatra last year daring the hot summer days which no other congress person did in the interest of the party. He has a clear understanding of the problems faced by the poor and down trodden in the rural areas of the entire AP which was observed by him during the padayatraHe has a clear vision and a clear role to take the congress party out of woods and has thus acted in the best interests of the party and therefore I prefer him to be the right choice as the Chief Minister of A.P.
The exit polls are only some indicatives.I believe on analysing and the body languages of most of the contenders, it does appear even if Congrees and TRS have a major chunk,the indications are their combime may not last long and perhaps TDP with its strategy may be able to form a Govt in A.P. I as a resident in Hyd do believe that the continuance of Shri Chandra babu will benifit the state much more.
Thanks to ys for his efforts in touring so vigorously hook and corner of the state before the elections,and if at all congress come to power -we have to witness new cm each year,they wont find time to see the problems of the state instead will have enough time to fight internally amoung themselves...alas save the people of this state....
Dr Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy's optimism to comeback to power in Andhra Pradesh is reasonable. He singlehandedly toured first by foot and then through Ratham every nook and corner of the state. He is a seasoned politician and people have already declared him as Chief Minister if Congress Party comes to power.His assertion on priorities like Agriculture and rural industries against IT(Imaginative Technology) to which much fanfare was given by Mr.Chandrababu Naidu are welcome.
The primary need of the hour which ever party comes to power is to solve GROWING UNEMPLOYMENT in the state. For example the AP state itself is producing about 60,000 Engineering Graduates every year besides lakhs of Arts and Science Graduates in addition to Doctors. If the Youth is not properly utilised in the Nation building ,there is going to be Unrest. The greatest asset we have is Human Resources. Let us revive Gandhian philosophy of Agroindustries,rural development and self reliance. Our concept should be,"Modernise the Traditional - Traditionalise the Modern".
