najma Heptulla

Nejma Heptulla is an opportunist. Its a shane that the grand daughter of Maulan Azad should stoop so low as to campaign for party which mercilessly butchered and raped the muslim comunity in Gujrat, a community to which Najma Heptullah unfortunately belongs. She is bothered about her position and the perks which come with it - but I can assure that history will record her as a selfish politician with no morality or decency.

EXIT POLLS RESULT
by vrkalyanakrishnan on May 01, 2004 11:08 AM

It is the responsibility of the Election Commission to hold simultaneous polls all over the country rather than make a tamasha of election in the country. Unfortunately, after T N Seshan, we do not have a strong Chief Election Commissioner, who can act and get things done. Of course, the bias of exit polls is evident from the figures churned out by various TV channels, especially of NDTV's bias against BJP.

Congress turns tables on BJP
by B. Prakash on May 01, 2004 10:52 AM

Even before the announcement of election opposition was notunited. Now they find there is chance of getting the power they started leadership issue. Till now Jyoti Basu was sleaping he also started sending messages. Both Yadav's story I have mentioned on 30/4
Both are ambitious like Sharad Pawar and there are some in Congress itself other than Sonia. I feel good if they give chance to someone from western region like Pawar, Shivraj Patil to rule once.If we choose some one from each region in rotation of CEO post that weill be better to keep India's unity alive. UP always ruled India except once Rao from south a full term.

Najma is a big opportunists. If congress comes to centre she may not getting Dy.speaker of Rajya Sabha or any other post in the days to come. Congress made her a respective place in Indian politics. Like many other over ambitious congress men who left the party started pulling the legs.

Congress is not recprocating
by Dr. Tirath Garg on May 01, 2004 09:19 AM

From the speches of Vajpayee it is difficult to understand what he wants to say, he does not remember what is he talking about, for whom he is asking for votes, his pathetic condition can be seen by himself flagging off Atal Himayat Committee which is asking for votes in the name of Musharraf. Now he is asking for votes in the name of cricket series, can he answer who stopped matches between India and pak, it was he who did it through much touted Uma Bharti. He wants to create a fear in public mind that the country is safe only if he is made Prime minister.
Congress campaign is not that counter offensive as it should have been. BJP is indulging in hate campaign and adopting gutter methods to capture power. It will be better for BJP to set its own house in order instead of teaching lessons to others. They will decide about them in the light of public mandate for which no certificate is required from Jaitley, Naidu & Co.
