Memories are short, but wounds are deep!

It was only yesterday, if I correctly remember, that Ajit Jogi had become a Congress pariah for his alleged bribery and 'tehelka' type of corrupt operations after losing the Chhatisgarh State to the BJP. The Congress party decided to isolate itself from this corrupt action. Now, it seems that memories are short, and here is Ajit Jogi back at the helm of the party candidacy for a seat in the Lok Sabha. It is a travesty of justice in India that people allegedly caught of corruption have their cases shelved by either the police or judiciary and making a mockery of the whole system. Ajit Jogi should have been tried, and if found guilty incarcerated. No, he is back, and this is a shame. The Congress party by giving him a ticket has proved itself that it is a party of the corrupt, for the corrupt and by the corrupt. Wounds are deep, and Indian society which is said to have a very rich cultural value against corruption is now open to abuse and ridicule. Is this the India we love?

The true colours of the Congress stands exposed - this party represents corruption, it is an accepted way of life for its leaders.
