I think he take a right decision. At this time our country definately needs the people like govinda.those sincerly want to work for the country and I think Govinda is a right choice. I wish him all the best.
Politics is a field where one has to play a role of reality. In the indian political history, this is the first time too many filmstars has joined both congress and bjp. I personally believe that this is just a unsound behaviour of political parties. For example govinda has joined congress to benefit congress party. We all know that after bjp or nda government came in to the power the image of india has completely changed in the world, where congress wants to keep continue their family legacy since nehru. This is completely wrong. When ever congress was in power doesn't matter who was the prime minister nothing has went well. where since vajpaee become prime minister, india has emerged as a future world power. Govinda no doubt is an excellent fimstar but while joining congress, i think he will lose his credentials towards common indians. he shoud join the party that really wants to do some thing with india as bjp.
Well it is very sad to hear that Indian Politics is following short of good politicians & that is why Film Actors Like Govida needs to borrowed. Cong. want to take back sit from Ram Naik & they have no better option , on the other side Govinda is not able to give a good hit cinema & he wants to try n come in publicity. Well both, cong. & Govinda are selling their ship according to wind, not where they want to go.If Govinda is true local boy what efforts he has done till now for people of Virar. Or what is his menifesto. But who will consider all this ? Do Govinda knows that he is being just utilized by congs ? Do the work done by Mr. Naik ( Irrespective of his party ) is not sufficient to make him win ? What is Govinda political competance ? It may be very simple to dance but it is very difficult to have political understanding. History says that poloticans are good actors but not the case with vice- versa. Hope the best judgers i.e. public will make right choce as Yeh Public hai sab janati hai....
I met Govinda twice , once on a BA flight where I chatted with him for over an hour in First Class. Then he came across as a very good human being with good ideas and kind thoughts for others. That was years ago and thereafter by chance I met him again at Film City where he was shooting a film and what touched me most was that even the small actor in the crew got the same respect and love from Govinda. That is all I know of him as a fan. Others who may have known him in depth over the years may know his character far better. Yet the observations I made are perhaps more than enough to state that as an elected official he would keep his word and do good.
