govinda vs. ram naik can turn out to be one of the biggest ' no-contests' of this general elections. the congress gamble to try to cash in on govinda's so-called popularity shall mis-fire. ram naik is an icon by himself. his record is impeccable. his 30 odd years in politics have been blemishless. first as a public representative and later as minister at the centre, ram naik is worth emulation. in sharp contrast, what is govinda's contribution to politics ? pelvic jerks, crude attempts at wooeing heroines, cutting vulgar jokes may entertain front benchers in theatres but not in realpolitik. the indian voter is mature enough to understand this and therefore govinda's foray in politics shall not fetch the congress the desired results. - dayanandnene
