rahul gandhi in politics
by v k nair on Mar 22, 2004 05:51 PM

Now it seems that the BJP is worried with the new development. Varun gandhi can join BJP & it is not following dynasty. A relative of Mr Vajpayee can contest election it is not dynasty. Can Mr Malhotra make sure that NO sons/daughters/relatives of BJP politicians are contesting the coming elections? If it is done by Congress it is wrong otherwise correct- is it not double standard. Apply the same yardstick for everybody. When Congress ties up with DMK it is wrong, but BJP joining hands with AIADMK it is correct! What a contradiction! Many have not forgotten the dirty words uttered by Jayalalitha aganinst Vajpayee those days.

It is quite clear that the BJP is really worried with the entry of Rahul & Priyanka Gandhi. Mr Malhotra this is the period of young people; old ones like you must retire. Mr Vajpayee says he is worried of future of India without him at helm of affairs hence he is contesting - Sir, don't worry, even after your passing away from the scene, Bharat will be there & progressing well.

Rahul enters pilitics
by shivi on Mar 22, 2004 05:36 PM

Gone are the days when Indians get excited about the entry of a single person in politics, even if it is a Gandhi. Today Indians want experience, substance and some proven track record. Rahul is decades away from that.
He will be a flop like all those high profile sons and daughters of actors who entered the film industry with so much promise but just fizzled out.

I still think that a guy whose mother is not of Indian origin should not be eligible to become PM, especially now that I hear he living in India, born in India cant speak a single Indian language.

ELITE SWING IN POLITICS

From the view point as a generalised fundamental,Harvard educated professional possesses a better commercial acumen in the politics industry to expedite better busines functions, secular state & ameliorate socio economic standards of India, definitely when enough of media coverage in terms of Gandhi Dynasty swings votes to Rahul Gandhi ,harbingers a loads much better than the forecasted GDP growth , a entrepreneurial wave in the young minds & is always better than the Rath Yatra Cheat Politics of which a ruling party is always left out with anti -remarks & the so called 'Feel Good'.

good decision
by neetu on Mar 22, 2004 05:31 PM

i believe she has taken agood decision. she should have given some space to priyanka also. probably she will let her to contest from somewhere or she will convince her to do so.i believe she will not repeat the same thing here also as what her party & she did in jammu & kashmir. the girls being deprived of their rights in this scientific & advanced world.
whenour constitution gives equal rights to bothe men & women.... then who is this mufti sayed(pdp)& congress to think of pasing such a bill.
sonia must think over it once again.
if this bill is passed in the assembly of j & k. then
the issue raised by her opposition party (of her foreign origin)is definitly worth something .
