It is totally wrong to compare Advani with Sonia. Advani never was a pakistani. He was a citizen of undivided India and hence naturally became a citizen of India during partition. Such migrated people during 47 are, per law, born citizen of India, which is in contrast to the acquired citizenship (ala Sonia). Advani, never had any other citizenship apart from India. This is not the case of Sonia. Just because one aquires citizenship of India (that too its alleged that she hesitated to aquire which is yet to be refuted) the citizenship, sonia's origin cannot become non-debatable issue that too she was/is not about to do any community service (ala annie besant, aurobindo mother, mother teresa etc. with whom she is being compared). She aspires to get the top political power in our country. Those quoted didnt aspire for political power. Also supreme court has given a verdict clarifying that under the current law, there is no bar for her to run for PMship. It doesnt mean that her origin cannot be an issue.
I appreciate Pankaj's being fair to both sides...but his defence of Gill was not convincing...that he was rewarded for past favours is patently obvious...and the Congress has set a very bad precedent... Pankaj also betrays a sneaking sympathy for the Congress and Sonia...never mind...THE BJP_NDA's WIN IS A FOREGONE CONCLUSION... Why is Pankaj trying to fend-off the "foreigner's issue" ,by dismissing it away ?
