Win Congress
by Chand on Apr 29, 2004 12:40 PM

Respected Madam,

We should not change our morality. We have to fight for poor and their problems. We have to take a stringent action against the corruption as well as increased electricity bill as well as commedities for house holds.

Wish you all the best, I will pray for your good health and fortune.

With warm regards,

Chand

PM

Sonias energy, charisma and charm will bowl over Indian voters. India needs an energetic lady such as this as PM instead of the geriatric Vajpayee who, despite all his years in politics, does not know when to quietly fade away to far off Kashmir to write poetry. Vajpayee can hardly walk, talk and looks terrible on TV. Time to retire Vajpayee. You have had a long innings. Time to make way for Sonia and a resurgent India.

Sonia a yard ahead of Advani, or a mile behind NDA?
by Ramesh Kapoor on Mar 13, 2004 03:28 AM

Very interesting scenario has appeared these days, ever since the journalists and media were entertained to a luncheon by Sonia Gandhi. She definitely scored one over the NDA in her PR, but at the same time the journalists, even Rediff columnists, have become soft on her and pronounce headlines, carry stories, more sympathetic to the Congress party. Not that I am against freedom of speech, but if the norms of the game is impartiatlity, so it should appear in print and on TV. Be as it may, it would be a sad day when the Congress party returns to power and India retreats to the 1940s and 1950s. Good Luck to the journalists who have sold their spirit for the price of a free lunch.

shenanigans of our 'leaders'
by PR on Mar 13, 2004 01:26 AM

Who is going to pay for all the yatras and Jan Samparks? All the security paraphernalia with Mr Advani .. at the taxpayer's expense?
Why all this drama in the election year? India will 'shine' when crooks stop wasting, looting, stealing public money.
