This election will see an unprecedented voter turnout as the mood for change, progress and development of our country is perceptible amongst the young and the old. The usual cynicism has tremendously reduced which itself is a harbinger for a balanced and more than moderate voter participation. As for the people with criminal antecedents amongst the candidates in the fray India's destiny will root them out. All the best, citizens and the children of India, remember Bharatiyata is in focus and nothing else matters.
This kind of rules and regulations are good, if they are religiously adhered to and enforced too.
I personally hope that these kind of things generate awarness among the educated public not to allow people with criminal backgrounds to go ahead and get elected.
At the same time I would like to voice my concern that many occassions all records can be cleaned by putting enough money in the authorities who have the power to clean such charges (we can call them "Society's Rin Supreme"). Hope these people also understand that anything they do will affect our current generation and future generations too (and that includes them too).
