Hello everybody, It is good for the Hon'ble DPM to tour the lenghth and breadth of the country.It is necessary for any concerned leader to do that and assess the electorate.The goal here is not to raise tensions or create communal dis harmony.A reponsible leader should find out what the people feel about him and his policies.There are some people here who have said that the DPM was born in pakistan (Absurd)! Why do people perosnally attack each other in India? All that you must see in a leader is his/her motivating performance and nothing else. Now The core issue here is if the Rath yathra is required or not.In my opinion,in a democracy, the best way for a ruler to govern is to get feed back from his/her people.You can not decide what the common man wants and what he deserves by scheduling meetings and mudslinging your political opponent. A country and its citizens have the right to know how their leaders performed.So if the DPM takes a tour to tell the people about what his govt has done and what he wants to do in the future; whats wrong with it? And why are the other opposition leaders reluctant to explain their positions and the govt's flaws? They are idle,decadent and scared.
Has the BJP prophesised its own doom? Why this desperation? Last time around, riding on Rams shoulders, Advanis yatra left a lot of mayhem and dead bodies in its wake. Advani, a Pakistani-born, has no good deeds for India. Just create communal disharmony is his raison deetre.
BJP is heading for disaster. People may forgive them once. But not twice. In case this yatra leads to rioting like last time. BJP will be done for. Their current support base is not among the die hard Hindus fanatics but the middle class, the business class and others who see that BJP is not all that fanatic. But one wrong move can lead them to disaster.
BJP is alive because of Hon'ble PM Mr. Vajpaiji BJP minus V is no victory, a big Zero and Advanniji's Yatra will not work this. It will defenitely create a second thought on NDA's other partners. Why they are so keen on securing its own single majority ? if the NDA is united. Mahajan, Jetli, Venkai all are keen to see the BJPs single majority. People got doubt on their plans and at this stage Advaniji's old idea, rejuvinated with Mahajan & party will create more flutter. Ratha Yatra with what slogan it is not clear till now?
Advaniji is the hope of India,notwithstanding the media's mischief to portray him as a hawk. I had the privelege to spend a whole day accompanying Advaniji on his Kerala tour when he was the I & B Minister. Very transparent,honest and witty, he is a no-nonsense person.His greatness is often underplayed.He is a great architect of the modern BJP.He handles situations with such tact, the best diplomat has to take a few lessons from him.Heis press conferences is a feast to any meadiaman.He answares with ease and clarity. As Dy PM in charge of National security what the Congress could not accomplish,nay what damage Congress governments did, Advaniji could silently undoThe peace initiatives found the insurgents in legion laying down the arms and brought the Kashmir dissidents to negotiating table without bringing damage to the honour of Natioanl integrity and Constistutional propriety.
