he was one of my favorite musician and singer, as a kid i used to die for listening his music. in youth i have learned to respect him for his feelings towards liberal causes of society and for the down trodden. this decision defies all logic, all in a sudden i feel, perhaps i should never hear his voice. he stabbed from the back, how can he take side with a party with hitlar like philosophy? i m sorry but anything can happen in INDIA, so hazarika too can join BJP.
By joining the BJP Bhupen Hazarika has betryed the sentiments and emotions of the people of Assam. It was the same BJP leaders who denied him a nomination to the Rajya Sabha and then the whole of Assam stood behind him criticising the BJP. But as a true assamese i would like to bring to his notice that his joining the BJP will never be liked by his fans. Bhupen da is above politics as he has always said.
