Something wrong somewhere with this lady.
by chanakya on Feb 26, 2004 12:12 PM

Either she is surrounded by bad guys, or she is no good herself.

Either way, how could the nation take a chance with her ?

Heptulla's words "forget the past and think for future". it is very easy to say forget past and think for future but practically it is not possible as the person who suffered loss can not forget the past and can not pardon to anybody who happened to be the culprit for his loss. Am i right.

Hats off to Najma heptullah
by mk on Feb 24, 2004 04:46 AM

This goes on to show the mindset of the present day politicians . These people doesnot have their own doctrines , Heptullah's stand on the Ayodhya only shows the level she can stoop for personal gains. Her responses to the gujrat riots only shows how desperate she is, to appease the people in power. She said she is thinking of partying her ways from congress as she felt humiliated by Sonia Gandhi , But what about the humiliation meted on the muslims (by the B.J.P ) of the country by bringing down the mosque that existed from the centuries..HATS OF TO NAJMA ..BRAVO !!!!1

by Abshar on Feb 24, 2004 04:33 AM

i think Mrs. Najma Heptullah simply speaks rubbish coz
she is saying that vajpayee is a good person
no matter how good is he only one thing makes him the worst person coz he is the leader of party whose agenda is to put dispute between the 2 large communities in india

Sonia should apologise
by CS on Feb 24, 2004 03:40 AM

Ms Sonia Gandhi, must make amends with Najma Heptullah at once . Najmaji has been a stalwart of the Congress & respected by all parties in both Houses of Parliament.
In my humble opinion, Sonia has bitten off more than she can chew, and with her coterie of yes-men & satellites she has forgotten the larger picture.
She is obviously out of her depth, she must find an excuse to step aside & to promote the true Congressmen & women, if the party is to survive.
A giant monolith is being chipped away by greed, selfishness & lack of focus on the main issues.

Wake up from your trance Mrs Gandhi, and step aside for more able Congress leaders & workers.
Monarchy went out of style in the last century...so quit grabbing seats for your kids and let Congress get together into the formidable force it once was.

another example of opportunism
by Sudhanshoo on Feb 24, 2004 03:26 AM

Well, I am not speaking for or against any party but I am pretty sure that this is yet another example of opportunism. The First Lady feels that this is the right time she changed her grounds and opt for a better chance of being successful and hence is trying her best to join BJP and leave Congress.
Waiting for the day when politics will be much more over all this
