INTERVIEW OF LALJI TANDON
by R.N.SINGHAL on May 03, 2004 03:36 PM

What Lalji is telling, seems, he himself does not know? One thing is clear that the Care taker Prime Minister is trying to save the person responsible for the 'cold blooded murder of 25 innocent women' & still he has not been arrested? Merely because he is the friend of the caretaker Prime Minister? Voters of Lucknow must defeat their sitting MP i.e. PM .This is indication that even the present UP Govtt have hand in gloves with the BJP? We would like the CM - UP to clarify as to why Lalji Tandon have not been arrested even after so many days of filing of the FIR?

Rightly Said

It was lallji Tandon's birthday and he arranged a private function to distribute sarees. The function was not organised by the BJP. How can you blame the party for whatever happened in that function. Unnecessarily dragging the name of Mr. Vajpayee into all this, just to take advantage of the tragedy clearly shows how desparate and marginalised our opposition is! A human tragedy where 20 lives were lost means just a political bait for the congress party. I think it is time now that Congress stop behaving in such a manner and show some more maturity in its action.

Lalji interview

Do you call this an interview? Give us a break! This is just a collage of some of the reporting that has appeared in the press since this mini genocide - just an attempt at being goody goody with all political players.

I quit so the PM won't suffer
by pat on Apr 30, 2004 06:39 PM

Mr. Tandon
The PM is suffering at the hands of the electorate!.
Whatever you may say, the EC has taken a grave view of the whole affair. Did you distribute the saries on the earlier occasions of your birhday?. Or will you continue to do so in future?. All people want you to continue this with every year in increasing number to distribute saries to the poor women. After 5 years for the next general election you take a stock of this and show to the EC that you did this by showing your bank withdrawals to the like amount. Then only you can be absolved of this charge.
