As many of the readers pointed out abt Narsimharao's name on the website, its needless to say again, indeed Its a good article. You can clearly understand the politics in the world's largest democratic political party. I don't know when are they going to end this obsession with Presindent-Gandhi terms. Congress party needs a huge reshuffling and it should let the young blood to work for the country ofcourse as well as for its party. Did any one questioned the credentials of smt.Sonia Gandhi as a party president? I don't think so. Anyhow we shall wait for a new leader who can lead this age old party and our country.
The Countrymen have once again established their supremacy by throwning out the the Government which has cheated the country . All the scams which were surfaced during the past Government tenure including Kargil, Tehlaka and even Purchase of drugs. The present Government must take steps for transparency . I am sure that the country will go a head on the programmes and policies framed by our great leaders like Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru/Indira Gandhi and the dream of our beloved leader Shri Rajeev jee. He has dreamt for taking the country into 21st century twenty years back and now that time has come. Dr.Vireder Mahajan
This is not correct ! Please go to "History" section and then Click on "Past Presidents". There you can find an artical on Narasimha Rao. ======================================= A leader from Andhra Pradesh P. V. Narasimha Roa is associated with Congress for the past five decades. As a student leader he had organised Satyagrahas against the British in many parts of Andhra and courted arrests. A science and law student of Osmania University P. V. Narasimha Rao can write and speak in many Indian and foreign languages. He was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh between 1971 and 1973. He was Union Cabinet Minister during 1984-95.
P. V. Naramsimha Rao was Prime Minister for a full term between 1991-96. He presided over the Indian National Congress Session at Tirupati in 1992 =================
Given the background of the party and its cringing army of slaves, the absence of any mention of Narasimha Rao is understandable. But the omission of Indira Gandhi, practically the founder of the outfit,is not quite in character.
go to the congress sandesh link , and then to the manifesto link. you'll find previous manifestos, where you'll find mentions about everyone you think are omitted on the web site. you can also find a link to past congress presidents. go through website properly before making hard hitting comments and writing reviews.
