"Barring sporadic violence in which six persons were killed, the polling was by and large peaceful"... India shining.. Still such is the value of life here.. Neways, what is this SIX compared to the 2000+ in Gujarat!!!
It is so disguisting to read that elections kill people. I have the attitude of not to vote because common people do not have safety to go to poll booths and vote. Eight people were killed in the second phase. It is a disgrace to Democracy. For VIPS it is easy to vote. But just sitting in luxurious homes does not teach them democracy. I would suggest the citizens of our nation not to vote. We will govern ourselves.
It is treacherous politics.
Thank god our freedom fighters are not alive to see all this.
Dear readers, It is indeed a great task taken by the Government to conduct this second phase of polling. Great amount of responsibility are shouldered on the election officials and security personnel so as to facilitate smooth polling. Voters are expected to move freely without external verbal influence and erercise their polling rights in a comfortable fashion. Let the basic human rights and human dignity be protected. May God help the polling for its smoothness and peaceful condition! Sincerely, Nallathambi Kandasamy.
