Glass ceiling
by Samir on Apr 14, 2004 05:48 AM

This highlights the main problem with Congress. Over the past few years BJP has carefully cultivated a second generation of leadership and it is paying off now. All of the leaders mentioned in the article have risen in the party hierarchy based on their merit. This is in strike contrast with Congress which has become a family enterprise. Any ambitious and self-respecting leader in Congress is bound to get frustrated with this glass-ceiling in the organization. If you want to motivate your workers, you have to make them feel that they are serving a cause and not a family.

Gopinath,

Well said boy. We need Younger people who can actively involve in the Countrys politics as Prime Minister. Not the people who can't walk and for speaking word takes 5 minutes.

Why can't BJP Project some body younger than Advani and Vajpayee as their leader?

Atal has to take rest now. He is too old to lead PM title. He can't walk properly and spends much more time to speak even two words. There is no one capable after Atal in BJP. Forget about Advani, George or mahajan. They are all useless.
Sonia is far better than all these people. Let's give her a chance.

I fully agree with Gopinath who has commented on it. Is'nt it true that the NDA government imported the hospital from US to replacve the Kneecap of the PM?. It would have been cheaper to send him abroad to save the cost to National exchequer. and save the tax payer's money!. There is going to be chaeos in case( I doubt if NDA can manage to muster the nos from other parties as usuausal they are preopared for a price!. But how long ? It is fun . We shall watcth the show it will be worst than a circuss!.

Infightings
by Sudeep K S on Apr 13, 2004 02:17 PM

The article gives an impression that BJP is sitting comfortable while Congress leaders are infighting. We didn't get to hear the news of eight rebel candidates being expelled from BJP in Orissa (it seems BJD is going to do the same), and the problems in TDP-BJP alliance in AP in rediff. Selective reporting?
