This has reference to the statement given by Rajnikant, who will vote for BJP, will really create a bad image in his political history. The reason he had given is BJP alone has promised for Interlinking of Indian Rivers. I agree but this alone cannot lead our nation to the Supreme power, wherein India BJP is living behind communal forces like RSS, VHP,etc. creating problems. They grew as a national party using the Ayodhya temple issue. So, as a fan of Rajni, as he said in a interview that "I like film actress Jayalalitha but not AIADMK leader". Likewise, i like Rajni as Super Star in Films not in Politics because minorities depends on Congress lead Coalition Central Government and we pray for that.
Also in his Padayappa film he has spoked a dialogue that "I have huge crowd whose power is mighty compared to other but i won't misuse the same for my personal purpose". But, this statement supporting AIADMK clearly shows that he is misleading his fans for his personal vengeance.
Good day I had lot of hope on you rather then DMK or AIADMK. But after reading your comment on voting BJP I lost my confidence on you. I thought u r very sensiable person, what sir you r doing like this. ITs shame on you. I like to to stand for CM post in Tamil nadu by starting your own group not by joining DMK or AIADMK. I felt very bad after reading your comment on voting for BJP. BJP r dividing the country sir. Pls save my people and my country.
I Don't know why much Political importance is attached by the Media to one of the film actors Mr.Rajni kant's utternaces,when he is not even able to guide his fans a proper way;He himself has confessed that his Fans are present in all Parties.
One Question to Mr.Rajni kant:BJP has given assurance of LInking All the rivers which is nearly impossible considering the nature of Political set-up in India.When BJP is not in a position to assure atleast a part of Kaveri River water to Tamilnadu which is possible,you are talking about assurance given by them for the Impossible dream!
In my opnion the reason for which he said that he will vote for BJP is is not a strong one as we know that the promise of bringing water from the river Krishna in Andhra to Tamil Nadu had been a failure so the total concept of connecting the rivers throughout the country is not a joke. The political leaders may say this, so that they can get the votes of the poor farmers who belive their leaders. Secondly the water issue not the only major issue because what would Mr. Rajinikanth say about the Unemployment which is a silent killer for the Indian economy.Apart from all this we have the Ayodhya issue which has been there all along for a decade for which a solution is yet to be found. Because of this issue we have seen the extent of damage it has done to our society like the communal riots. If the money spent on the recovery of physical damages had been spent on education or welfare institutions there could have been some sort of developement.Most of all the war with our neighbour, where there is "PIECES OF MIND" and no peace of mind.You can always say that he expressed HIS opinion and has mentioned that he did not bind it on any one.But 1996 elections say what HIS POWER IS.
Tamilnadu's charismatic actor turned philosopher Rajnikant has taken the right decision in supporting BJP. Of late, BJP has changed its major policies to suit the times and expectations of the people. It is not adament like Congress which refuses to learn lessons from the past. Policies of congress on Secularism, foreign origin issue etc are vague and are not convincing, whereas BJP has subdued its stance on even Ayodhya issue that shows that it is more flexible than Congress.
More than the stand he has taken, the reason for supporting BJP is very timely and commendable. When BJP is able to link the entire country by Golden quadrangle, linking the rivers also is a possibility. In case it becomes a reality, Rajnikant's name will be imprinted in Indian History with glowing tributes.
