Yes i think so who can not speak Vande Mataram she is not been having the authority to do anything in the parlement. Parlement is too long she is not having the authority to do the work in Muncipal Corporation as a Corporator.
I don't think that the capability of singing the vande-mataram should be a decider for holding the position of The Prime Minister. In the past also we have had Prime Ministers who could not have conducted an independent conversation in Hindi. Language is never the deciding criteria. Yes, Mr Modi's doubt on her leadership cababilities is understandable. But let the voters decide what they want in their Prime Minister.

The way Modi reacting on 'Can Sonia sing Vande Mataram' is ridicule. I can bet on even our political leaders cannot sing the song. We elect the guys who don't even know to read and write. If you have to win, challenge her on country issues not on these topics. I being a Vajapayee supporter (after supporting P.V.Narisimha) for their vision, don't believe in this type of politics. Modi should understand INDIA and 'We the People' (INDIANS) changed a lot , and will not fall for this politics.
In the article Modi is going around telling people that Sonia Gandhi can not memorize the Vande Mataram. Since when has memorizing been related to higher human intelligence? Memorizing has nothing to do with it. Even Chimps and Parrots can memorize things they dont have a clue about. I feel the same for leaders like Modi. They need to go look up the CONSTITUTION of India that our visionary founding fathers wrote for the nation to follow. People like MODI can never be called Indian patriots as they are against the Constitution. They dont even believe in it or else they would know every CITIZEN of India has equal rights and can run for any office regardless of their race, religion or sex. When a person became a citizen or if they can memorize like a chimp is not relevant. As long as you are a citizens thats all what counts. There is no difference between Modi & Milosivich and he too should be put on trial for crimes against humanity.He and other leaders who bring up the origin issue in India are spreading hate.
Modi infact, is the real Burden to humanity and India. 99 percent of Indians cannot sing Vande Mataram. Who cares about all this non-issue. Singing vande mataram does not feed you, gives you shelter or clothing or anything a human being craves for. People who sing vande-mataram and are inhumane like Modi; do they deserve to be part of India? It a shame to have such people in charge of public affairs.
I asked my friends of north india, who are the students of IIT, Delhi, even they dont know 'Vande mataram" completely...then, how can we take these kind of issues for our consideration...Modi's aim is to insult Sonia Gandhi. As a CM of a state, he talks like very worst local politician...Not good for India, esp. for Gujarat...He is the politician able to hold his post only on religion not by his service to common people.
