So Vajpayee, has the post of PM become so alluring that you will cling on to it even when you are in the ICU? Retire Vajpayee before you are unable to even stand.

It is time to hand over the leadership to somebody else and under PMs guidance somebody else can also excel. That way we can have more number of capable and experienced leaders in the party.

Retirement

The members of the parliament are the ones who decide the retirement age for everyone in the country, should not be having a retirement age. Our Prime Minister will be 84 and Deputy prime minister will be 79 years old by the time their term gets over and of course if they win the election.

I personally feel that however good the people are they need to have a fixed retirement age, minimum qualification, and maintain the basic morns like family planning and prompt payment of taxes and bill. I accept that I do not want to see Ms. Sonia Gandhi as the Prime Minister but at the same time cannot accept the fact that old people like these are going to govern the country.

God-Forbid if anything were to happen to the PM or DPM... their is none in the NDA to take over and govern hte country.

Certainly not. Still there is a lot of damage to be done to the nation by selling some of the remaining profit making Public Sector Undertakings and claiming that India is Shining, NDA is feeling good.
