How can there be any doubt about BJP being a thinking party. 1. Without thinking how could they be so well prepared to retaliate after Godhra. 2. Without thinking out their strategy for three generations to come, how could they plan the revamping of text books to put in the 'correct' "hindutva" perspective. 3. Without thinking of all the gains from cable operators and pliant broadcasters like Star News, how could they attempt to implement CAS. 4. Without thinking how could they change all the ground rules in telecom to benefit a single group. One could go on & on.
It is this unique thinking, which some choose to call Machiavellian, that distinguishes the BJP and makes them truly peerless.

Naveed, I would like to point out that you along with many other Indians are falling into the politician's trap here. We Indians are again getting divided into "vote banks" for these politicians. Thats what happened in 1950s , 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s lets not let these blood sucking netas do it again. Lets vote on merit of the politician begging to be elected in our constituency. Let the party symbol be secondary in our minds. Give this a thought !
