If congress wins the elections, this would really show that people care for basic ammenities and not just vote on basis of caste or religion. BJP is doing a good job at national level but Congress has really improved Delhi. It is the leaders of a country that make the nation and not its people.
Improve basic amenities provided and care for people instead of just trying to make money.
Vajpayee is a respectable person. He might have said this out of political compulsion. This he do sometimes out of pressure from his own party.
He cannot blame the Delhi, Rajastan or Chatisgarh Govts. All are well doing in terms of development. If it is MP is understandable. But bribging BJP in MP is not going to make any difference may make it more worse. India is not Japan or America and Delhi is not New York or Tokyo.
PM accuses Delhi Government for non governence, HE should pay a visit to BJP ruled states like Gujarat, Jharkhand and until recently ruled UP. Delhi is far better that these states. To be very statictically speaking, the states that are having a good recored in high standards of human life are the states with "Left" influence. West Bengal, Kerla, Karnataka, Maharashtra, TN are amongst the top ranking states in these issues. For examaple the per capita Calorie consumption has incerased in West Bengal where as desreased in many states. Hence PM has no right to accuse the congress for this. BJP states are doing no different. Time has come to give "Left" a chance now.
