Jaitley is trying to fool the people. His statement that Under Congress rule economy has not grown greater than 3% absolutely a lie. How can he make statements like that? The last year of Congress in power (Rao) GDP growth was 7% ! In next 5 years under Vajpayee it went down to 4% in 2002. Then who is better.
When Congress introduced Liberalisation BJP/RSS family were fighting it. Their policy was swadeshi. What happened to the swadeshi movement by RSS? Jaitley should tell the people. The economic progress most coutries achieved started during 80's. Ronald Raygen and Margarett Thatcher were instrumental in this process for US and UK. Japan too showed their groth in 80's. They had enough infrastructure, technology and other resources at the time.
