Provide best possible basic services like health, power, education, clean water, effective public transport system and you would definitely get re-elected.
though i am not bjp supporter, i feel that it serves diggy raja right for having resorting to gimmicks like cow slaughter ban proposal. he neglected urban development for the politically correct expedient of appeasing rural audiences only. sheila dixit has proved that suave, classy and no nonsense, issue based politics is any day a better bet. ashok gehelot too tried gimmicks involving affirmative action ( reservations) which have thankfully backfired. and the mother of all mess ups lies at the door of ajit jogis camp for spoiling a sure victory. these sting operations are completely immoral and dangerous for individual freedom and privacy .. serves jogi right too! only unfortunately the bjp is the undeserving gainer out of all this!
