Granted that the UK may not have done as much as the US but really speaking the UK is not a place where they brought in slave labour from Africa or India or Asia and whose descendants need to be provided such acts as Holding wants. Most of such people came in from the erstwhile colonies and were afforded citizenship rights in the UK but they always had the option to remain in the colonies which teh African Americans did not have.
