Many youngsters today don't know what a fantastic batsman Sunil Gavasker was. He was technically so perfect that it he was a living text book for batsmen. I was in school when he began his career with the test series against West Indies & immediately he was an exceptional, sensational batsman. Even today his knowledge oozes while commentating. He simply can't be anything other than a perfectionist in batting knowledge. Sachin Tendulker is also a very great batsman but I'm sure that he would respect Sunny as his guru. Hats off to Sunil Gavasker. God's gift of a batsman. He was respected by every country as the best in his time.
