I agree with Harper .Basically the DRS is Taken when a Team is unsatisfied with the decision of On field Umpire ,so ideally his decision of out or not out should not have a bearing on the final call
I can't agree with Harper. Technology has its limits, and if there is any uncertainty about the possibility of the ball hitting the stumps, it should be left to the discretion of the on-field umpire. The logic that the ball hitting the stumps or bails is an "all-or-none" event probably originates from the display of the tracking software, which shows half the ball hitting the stumps or bails when there is uncertainty. This should be changed to a question mark or some other display which clearly conveys that the technology has reached the limits of certainty, and humans should take over.
