As a gesture, MSD ought to retire from Captaincy and advise CSK to look for an alternate Captain from April 2021. He has overstayed TN welcome in the Chennai team. He (and CSK, too) has done precious little for TN Cricket whose Cricketers have not had the same encouragement as the RR did for youngsters. He brought in his own cronies from outside (several fast bowlers and spinners) and would go out of the way to give more chances to players like Rayudu, Jadeja, Jadhav, Piyush, Karn etc but deop State players at the drop of a failure or two. In 2019, Vijay was hardly played (maybe just one match) and in 2021 was abandoned after the first 3 matches.
