Our Cricket Team is champion only on flat lifeless, spinning from day one pitches and partisan Indian crowds madly cheering atmosphere. Further since this is the only game, which is financially paying, businessmen put lot of money in it. To improve this once for all, they should be paid by Wickets they take and runs they score, with all other expenses being made from their own pocket. This will improve their performance substantially.
With due respect to Kohili, I was not impressed with him on his statement while we lost all ODIs against NZ. He was telling they are not much concerned with loss in ODIs since team India is now concentrating more in 20:20 and Test matches. These kind of remarks should not come from a Captain like Virat Kohili. He should have told NZ played better or our players were not up to the mark, but he should not make irresponsible comments. Now what happened about test matches, both of them India lost. Remember, pride goes before a fall. Still I feel Team Indian is a top team, but they should not carried away and should not under estimate opponents.
Virat do not make runs in England & New Zealand conditions, he miserably failed outside the off stumps and do not make shot adjustment the swing ball conditions.
Our batsmen are good only when pitches are flat. Once you have fast bowler friendly pitches our technically poor batsmen fail. Also applying T20 & ODI mindset is spoiling test cricket. Kohli & Ravi talking about Pujara's strike rate is utter non sense as in test cricket you need to build innings & partnerships rather than going for fancy T20 shots.
