Despite a good start, India could not capitalize on it.

It was not an easy pitch, but it was not the same for Rohit. India should have made atleast 200 after the brisk start. Sending Shivam Dube one down was a wrong option since it is the series decider match. He is good, but lacking experience. If Kohili is in the playing 11, he should come at no 3 in crucial matches. Against Aus also in one match same experimentation done, but did not succeed. Again in the lower order, Sharad Takur should have been sent ahead of Jadeja in view of hitting abilities especially since the momentum was down after 15th over. Irrespective of the pitch conditions, Players like Takur can play big shots at will and if he could stick on for two overs he can make atleast 20 extra runs than Jadeja who prefer to play orthodox shots. Takur is a fearless hitter and his approach to batting is non conventional.
