Concussion substitute

Post-match discussions are taking place because India won. India replaced a spinner with the only available other spinner. Kohli wouldn't have known nor anyone else beforehand that Chahal would put in a match-winning performance, what if he had gone none for fifty?

Jadeja suffered a knock on the helmet while batting and complained of dizziness shortly after. Head injuries may present with a "lucid Interval" during which time the person might not experience any symptoms.
Furthermore, Chahal and Jadeja are both spinners and therefore there is no need for a debate.
Finally, this is only a cricket match; this is not a war, and one should accept these in the true spirit of sportsmanship. Whatever one may say about Kohli, when Smith was booed by the crowd when he returned after serving ban for ball tampering, Kohli was largehearted to welcome him back to the playing field.

Like "Mankading" the non-striker batsman, if the rule allows, there is nothing wrong in taking the substitute. Getting hit on the helmet is not a joke. Phil Hughes died because of that.

All this noise is because Chahal took crucial wickets that might have impacted the result. Langer’s annoyance is understandable as, he expressed before the innings. All these commentators including the joker called Sanjay are wondering like this after he took wickets. What would have been their reaction had he taken just a wicket conceding some 40-45 runs? Still they would have said India misused the rule??

Jadeja

I think their is no deference between Jadeja and Chahal as a bowler if India adopts Bumra in place of jadeja then its will full mistake. both Jadeja and Chahal are spinners. their is no extra specialty with chahal better than Jadeja. If India lost the game there is no scope for this discussion.

The debate is only because Australia Lost ....otherwise nothing wrong...someone is in an advantageous position...What if Chahal wouldn't have been successful

Jadeja is better bowler than Chahal. With Jadeja also India would have won.
