They unnecessarily sent back Vijay to oblivion just because he did not do well in a couple of matches whereas the team management and selectors were willing to give a long rope to teh Rahanes, Rahuls, Pants and Rohits! Rahane started as an opener in first class cricket but was allowed to come in as a middle order bat to get him a place in the team, Rohit was given a lot of chances before he finally delivered as an opener in ODIs and T20Is though he has consistently failed in Tests. With Shikar becoming inconsistent teh team has no one to turn to!
