Not experience but irresponsibility played a major role in Pant inclusion for world.cup. His irresponsible shots at a juncture when DC team was about to win lead to DC loose the match. During the eliminator against SH he played a nothing shot when the game was in grasp with single single run. Luckily SH won. This will teach Pant a lesson. If I would have been coach of DC i would not have included in any IPL matches. I would have not mind loosing the match from ball 1 rather than loosing when 20 odd runs are needed because of nothing shot from a player who has made his image look much bigger than it is.

A persons mind set differ at various ages and Pant is too young to be criticized to this extent. Youngsters can be little more adventurous than seniors but these are the guys who can change the course of the match in a few balls. You have mentioned about Pant's irrespoinsibe shots and all, but there are 10 more players in the team who could have contributed for the win. Why Pant only to be blamed for match losses. I think he played a stellar role for Delhis crucial wins. First let us make a self assessment.If you or me are in the middle, what we are going to do in such kind of highly competitive matches like IPL.
