It's a terrible idea to promote Dhoni higher up in the batting order.
Firstly, it will be place him at a higher risk of fitness problems, especially since he has a recurring back problem.
Secondly, despite all the gush about his recent IPL performances, he still has a NOTORIOUS and DANGEROUS PENCHANT to fall far behind the asking rate, and then try to score an impossible 24 runs or more in the final over.

i totally agree with you. MSD is no more an excellent finisher for few years now. I dont see a valid reason to make him bat at no4,5 or even 6.
